The Gauteng Freeway improvement Project covers upgrades to the N3 from the Geldenhuys Interchange to the Buccleuch Interchange (17,6km) and covers improvements on the N1 from Buccleuch to the Brakfontein Interchanges (23km). In both instances work includes adding extra lanes to the roads, upgrading intersections and building new bridges to improve traffic flow.

Value: Gauteng Freeway Improvement Project Package F & C in excess of R3 billion.
